Health Care on my Mind.

April 3rd. 2026

My last two stories were pertaining to health care in Canada and how we Canadians are being ripped off and cheated from all directions by our so-called HEALTH CARE. It was about having to pay for parking at health care centres and the unfathomable lack of interest in bringing the perpetrators of the covid mess to justice.  Covid was the worst killer of the human race in history.  Hundreds of millions have had life changes and millions have died. Many more are falling ill with unusual health problems as health workers are baffled by new and unidentified invasions on our bodies.

Seniors are impacted the most by all the imperfections of a system that has fallen off the rails. The writer has been a senior for a long time and has survived sepsis, cancer, a deadly auto crash, covid and much more. My wife has had her issues with heart, cancer, diabetes and seizures. We were given the responsibility to raise two deaf boys.   Health care is no stranger to me.  I have faced death more than once and have had to make life threatening decisions that have fortunately been the right ones to continue on this life-path. I cannot take credit for my good fortune, as I had a lot of help from my Maker. God has been at my side through some very dicey times.

With this in mind, this may be the place to discuss a very important segment of health care that most would rather avoid. Abortion, Maid, Euthanasia and condoned murder by our government.

It would be unfair to be totally against any of the above ways to terminate human life. For as always, there are extenuating circumstances that make it impossible for the human soul to have the spiritual knowledge of our God, like in a decision of such magnitude, “life or death”.  However, I personally find it repulsive to be living under a regime that condones all of these forms of life closure. Canadians, for too long have been living under the false impression that we have a government that has morals. A moral government would enforce all of God’s laws including Abortion, the right to take one’s own life, government approval of body parts harvesting and, in some cases, enhancing death to hasten that procedure. These basic rights have been preserved in our laws since they were written.  For those of us who would rather the health care system heal rather than destroy, would rather our taxes not be wasted on a system that is out of control with waste, and accepting the constant shortage of doctors and nurses. However, there seems to be no lack of administrators with salaries of hundreds of thousands and in excess of over half a million dollars per year for some. The public is warned that these Primadonna’s will not tolerate being confronted regarding the poor service and total disregard for the individual’s time and rights. Doctors are on the defense by threatening to withdraw their services if you dare to express your feeling toward those same poor services.  However, when the system falters and loses a young person’s life because of the system’s ineptness, do we hear of someone in charge getting fired? Not in the halls of health care or education. Government workers with their bloated contracts and benefits need to be held responsible for their actions and in many cases inaction. Sick and elderly having to wait on the phone or in a hospital emergency room for hours, or in my case stored away in a corner of the emergency ward on a gurney for a week with no ability to wash or go to the bathroom except a public WC that many times was not fit for humans. This following a procedure that told me I would be dead in 6 months with cancer. How inhumane can this system get before we rise up and demand changes?
