My Country
April 20th. 2025

Canada is my country of birth and I have been for almost 90 years, a proud and faithful citizen. I have travelled all over this world and never backed away from exposing Canada’s greatest assets and there have been many. I am not travelling any more due to my age and the fact that it is not as much fun as it once was. I think in many situations I would be reluctant to wear my Canada flag button. When I was a travel escort, herding mostly Americans through the Casbah, Beijing, London or Paris, I always had a Canadian flag button for everyone as Canada was accepted when USA citizens were not. Times have changed and the world is not as gentle and innocent as it once was.
Sy attitude has changed as well and along with that, my feelings toward my birthland are not as positive as they once were. We (Canadians) are losing the recognition of calming almost innocent position in the world of politeness. This was evident in the recent election debate when Sing, the NDP leader constantly interrupted the other candidates with his childish and annoying discharges. He represents far less than 10% of the population but seems to think he is something special. I am not against immigration but when a beautiful town like Brampton is transformed into a cesspool of crime and disorder by a monopoly of one race from a foreign country with a culture and religion that is foreign to ours, I feel the need to respond. I do have fond memories of growing up in a small town less than 5,000 in population where no one bothered with locks on their doors and church attendance was two or three times a week. Brampton was that town. My lovely wife’s family goes back into the late 1800’s in Brampton. In 1890 the local newspaper wrote of a paint and wallpaper store in Brampton named J. Harmsworth & Sons. This business is still on Main Street operated by the founder’s great, great grandsons. When a candidate for the leadership of my country wants to increase our population more than double with immigrants that do not represent our culture or morals, I have to speak out. This is not to be looked on lightly. Carney’s predecessor, Trudeau, has caused a drastic housing shortage in Canada by importing some very distasteful people into Canada along with 5,000.000 + more in the past five years.
The election this week-end will determine the fate of our country for generations to come. I will not be affected by it but my family will. There are so many reasons why electing another corrupt Liberal government will be a disaster for Canadians. I have been told that I am too long winded and to keep my writing shorter, so take my word for it. After some digging, let me say this. Carney is not what he appears to be. If Canada is to prosper, Carney is not the guy to make that happen. He is just another highly educated fool in sheep’s clothing.
