Trump and Bible Prophesy

I have been holding off writing this next “rantingsandraves” so that I will have the best info assembled on this controversial subject, keeping in mind that the thoughts are mine alone and are not to be considered factual. I am by no means a student of the Bible. I, however received a Bible from a TV evangelist, Rex Humbard many years ago called - Prophesy Bible Edition. I am finding it to be very helpful in my later years of writing my books and my blog.

Prophets are not wandering the earth today as they were in Bible times, so we are limited to what we can learn from old writings. As the Bible is made up in large part of prophesies both in the old and new testaments and many are of the End Times, which almost all teachers and Bible historians will agree we are either approaching or are in and perhaps we should be expanding our vision of what is to come while we still have the opportunity. Read from Revelation 13/3,4,5.

3 I saw one of his heads as it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound had been healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast.

4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; And they worshipped the beast saying, who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?

5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.

For some time now following the attempted assignation of past president Donald Trump, I have been obsessed with the thought that somewhere in the Bible this very deed was prophesied. A leader was mortally wounded in the head but made a complete recovery to go forward. Do these three verses seem to paint that picture?

All that is written in our Bible is not always easy to understand. It is possible that different preachers reading the same text will come up with totally different interpretations and preach very different sermons. John’s book of Revelation is taken from dreams sent by God for him to document in his book “Revelation.” On a re-read of- Rev.13/3-4-5, I thought that it could be referring to past Pres. Trump. My first thoughts were, this has been prophesied. Trump has been wounded in the head and miraculously was not killed but within hours, back to normal. After hearing several interpretations from scholars, I am of the opinion that Trump, North America and the UK are not even going to be players in these prophesies. Jeremiah30/1-11.Many interpretations of the Bible referring to America and the UK British-descended nations, descendants of Abraham’s sons Isaak and Jacob, will pay dearly for their rejection of God’s laws and will not be a significant enough entity to be mentioned in the last days.

The seven heads are 6 nations from history and the seventh will be the revived Roman Empire. The 7 Heads are -

1 Babylon – the Lion

2 Persia – the Bear

3 Greece – the four headed leopard

4 Turkey

5 Syria – (Assyria)

6 Egypt

7 Roman.

We read on, that he was given a mouth to speak great things and blaspheme and to speak on behalf of the “Beast” of the Sea (Gentile nations) for 42 months.

In verses 6-7-8-9-10 he (a new beast) goes against God and his authority and causes a great war where he takes over the World. The second Beast with 2 horns appears, and all the people of the world are under his authority. He is called the “Beast out of the earth” We read on in chapter 13 verses 11-18, the “beast out of the earth” is come to exercise the first Beast and vanquish him and cause a war that will enslave all humanity. All that are left are to be put under the deception of the second Beast with fire from the sky (perhaps a nuclear bomb?) and the sign Fixed on the right hand or on the forehead declaring their subservience to the true devil whose sign is the number 666. The people during this period are not written in the book of the Lamb. Do they still have one last chance to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and accept that he died on the cross for our sins? Or, are they to accompany the Devil-Saten into the bottomless pit for 1000 years of damnation? Chapter 14 tells of the 144,000 Jewish Rabbis who go into the world to spread the word of God.

It is obvious to this confused soul that God has certainly given us a glimpse into humanity’s future but left many questions that we will only understand when we are taken to our home in heaven.

There are many Bible scholars that have written in hundreds of books and on line for one to reference If this is a subject you would like to pursue further. The more I dig the deeper I end up in confusion. As I have stated before, if you feel you are in a hole, stop digging. Perhaps I should listen to my own thoughts. Faith in God and his word is the saving grace for all mankind. God has been clear in his plan for us. Yes, all have sinned and come close to death but except for the sacrifice God made, giving his son to die for our sins, we are saved. Believing in Jesus Christ and his sacrifice on the cross is our pathway to eternal life. All our sins are forgotten and we will live in the house of the Lord for ever and ever. Amen.
